The P1:8 Homestead Team has been talking with Pastor Reggy Joseph in Homestead about opportunities for us to partner with them.

There is a courtyard area at their church that they would love to convert to a safe playground for the children. Currently children have to play in a busy parking lot so this would be a great benefit to the entire church. 

There are also a couple of rooms in the church building that need some renovations such as painting and tiling (floors).

We also discussed bringing soccer equipment to Homestead and having our youth come to play with their youth and be involved in some work projects as well. This could possibly be done through a family-based mission trip over a holiday.

Planning is still being done for a future Homestead mission trip. The opportunities are great!
