Q. What are Life Groups all about?
A. Life Groups are about ordinary people getting together on a regular basis to discuss life and to grow in their understanding of who God is and how He works in ordinary people’s lives.

Q. What happens in a Life Group?
A. Usually about 6 to 10 people get together in an informal setting to get to know one another, enjoy some food and conversation and spend some time discussing topics that will encourage their individual spiritual growth. Many times these discussions will involve examining what the Bible has to say about important life principles. Group members may not always agree with the things discussed but they typically hear thought-provoking comments and learn more about how God wants us to enjoy the life He has provided for us.

Q. What if I don’t know anything about the Bible?
A. Life Groups are designed to provide safe learning environments for people who are willing to admit they have some things to learn. You will not be forced to give your views. If you are concerned about being asked to pray or read aloud, don’t worry; all participation is voluntary.

Q. What about child care?
A. Currently LifeBridge is investing with families who have child care needs and who want to attend a Life Group. The group leader can provide you with a child care voucher you can turn in to receive some help toward the cost of your providing a baby sitter. We encourage group members to consider working together to share sitters and keep the cost reasonable. You are on your own to work out these arrangements. Q. When do groups meet?
A. Groups typically meet twice a month for an hour and a half to two hours. Groups also typically take time off during the summer and other school holidays.

Q. Where do groups meet?
A. Groups are encouraged to rotate their meetings among all the group members’ homes. This is done to lessen the burden on any one family. For a specific group meeting location, click here to email Johnny Ervin.

Q. What are the ground rules?
A. They are very basic. Participants should:
 - Desire personal growth
 - Commit to regular attendance
 - Respect others opinions
 - Keep all matters discussed confidential

Q. How will the discussion topic or curriculum be selected?
A. The information discussed is selected from a variety of curriculums used specifically for groups like this. The group’s leader will work with the group to identify the areas of interest they have and will try to cover the ones that most of the group has an interest in and that they believe will help them grow spiritually.

Q. Who is the group leader?
A. The leaders are selected because of their support for LifeBridge’s mission and an understanding of key biblical principles. They will at times ask others to volunteer to perform important roles such as helping lead discussions, scheduling host homes, contacting group members to understand prayer needs and prepare refreshments.
